You may be aware that all the LEC’s – including Verizon – recently raised DS1 loop rates across the board, based on FCC’s Business Data Services Order. Do you currently have any DS1/T1 local loops, either in Verizon’s territory through another carrier or directly from Verizon? If so, Windstream may be able to help reduce the impact of these cost increases.
We have negotiated an agreement with Verizon which provides a very favorable cost structure on DS1 local loops and can typically save you 10 to 20 percent off current costs.
If you are interested, please send a list of your current Verizon DS1 circuits to your Resale Account Executive and include the Central Office CLLI, Service Address, VZ Circuit ID, Circuit Term date and current Verizon MRC. Windstream will review and provide a quote showing your potential savings. If you choose to move forward, we will work with Verizon to simply change the customer of record to Windstream. This will not impact your end users’ service in any way and there will be no hot cuts or grooming onto our network. It will be just a billing change, so going forward you will be billed by Windstream rather than Verizon.
